Biological Activity
17β-HSD10-IN-5 (compound 9b) (10-25 μM; 48 h) has negligible cytotoxicity and minimal ATP reduction in HEK293_wt cells in glucose medium, but shows significant ATP reduction and high cytotoxicity in galactose medium[1].
17β-HSD10-IN-5 (10-25 μM; 2 h) potently inhibits 17β-HSD10 activity in HEK293 cells overexpressing 17β-HSD10 with an IC50 of 1.34 μM[1].
17β-HSD10-IN-5 (4.02 μM; 72 h) significantly increases ATP levels and reduces cytotoxicity, mitigating pathology in HEK293 cells overexpressing 17β-HSD10[1].
17β-HSD10-IN-5 (4.02 μM; 72 h) does not mitigate ATP reduction or cytotoxicity in HEK293 cells overexpressing 17β-HSD10 in an Aβ42-enriched environment[1].
