Biological Activity
3-methoxyphenylboronic acid (Compound 3-MBA) (0.1 mM, 2 h) leads to disruption in cultured tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) cells dose-depentdently[2].
3-methoxyphenylboronic acid (0.5 mM, 1 h) causes moderate cell-to wall-detachment in cultured tobacco cells[2].
3-methoxyphenylboronic acid (0.5 mM, 4 h) reduces disruption of cytoplasmic strands proportionally to the affinity of itself for the added suger in cultured tobacco cells[2].
