6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone
Based on 1 Customer Validation
6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone (6-Chlorobenzo[d]oxazol-2 (3H)-one) is a derivative of DIMBOA (HY-N7432) and an antibacterial agent. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone against Ralstonia solanacearum is 100 mg/L, and its minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) is 500 mg/L. 6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone reduces biofilm formation and inhibits swarming motility of *Ralstonia solanacearum*. It can be used for the research of bacterial wilt.

Biological Activity
6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone (10-300 μg/disc; 24 h) dose-dependently inhibits the growth of Ralstonia solanacearum in a filter paper disc agar diffusion assay, producing a maximum inhibition zone of 22.0 mm at 300 μg/disc after 24 h incubation[1].
6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone (25-1000 mg/L; 24 h) inhibits the growth of Ralstonia solanacearum with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 100 mg/L and a minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) of 500 mg/L in a microdilution assay[1].
6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone (24 h) inhibits Ralstonia solanacearum growth with an IC50 of 29.65 mg/L and an IC90 of 522.50 mg/L after 24 h incubation in a concentration-response assay[1].
6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone (50-200 mg/L; 24 h) significantly inhibits Ralstonia solanacearum growth at 100 mg/L and completely arrests growth at 200 mg/L over a 24-h incubation period[1].
6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone (10-100 mg/L; 24 h) dose-dependently inhibits Ralstonia solanacearum biofilm formation, reducing biofilm formation by 81.42% at a concentration of 100 mg/L after 24 h incubation[1].
6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolinone (25-50 mg/L; 24 h) inhibits the swarming motility of Ralstonia solanacearum, reducing migration zone diameter by 1.32-fold at a concentration of 25 mg/L after 24 h incubation[1].
