NF-κB1/p50 Inhibitor

Andrographolide is a NF-κB inhibitor, which inhibits NF-κB activation through covalent modification of a cysteine residue on p50 in endothelial cells without affecting IκBα degradation or p50/p65 nuclear translocation. Andrographolide has antiviral effects.

Mangiferin is a Nrf2 activator. Mangiferin suppresses nuclear translocation of the NF-κB subunits p65 and p50. Mangiferin exhibits antioxidant, antidiabetic, antihyperuricemic, antiviral, anticancer and antiinflammatory activities.

Tectochrysin (Techtochrysin) is one of the major flavonoids of Alpinia oxyphylla Miquel. Tectochrysin inhibits activity of NF-κB.

DPLG3 is a specific chymotryptic-like β5i subunits inhibitor, with an IC₅₀ of 4.5 nM. DPLG3 inhibits mouse i-20S with IC₅₀ of 9.4 nM. DPLG3 downregulates the protein levels of NF-κB p50 and p65. DPLG3 can be used for immune disease research.

Lucidone, an anti-inflammatory agent that can be isolated from the fruit of Lindera erythrocarpa Makino. Lucidone inhibits LPS-induced NO and PGE₂ production in RAW 264.7 mouse macrophages. Lucidone also decreases TNF-α secretion, iNOS and COX-2 expression. Lucidone prevents NF-κB translocation and inhibits JNK and p38MAPK signals. Lucidone also has inhibitory activity against Dengue virus (DENV) (EC₅₀=25 μM).
