Transketolase Inhibitor

N3PT (N3-pyridyl thiamine) is a potent and selective transketolase inhibitor. N3PT is pyrophosphorylated and then binds to transketolase with an K_d value of 22 nM (Apo-TK, transketolase lacking bound thiamine).
