Transketolase-IN-6
Transketolase-IN-6 is a potent transketolase inhibitor and a herbicide. Transketolase-IN-6 inhibits root growth of Digitaria sanguinalis, Amaranthus retroflexus, and Setaria viridis. Transketolase-IN-6 shows low phytotoxicity to wheat, maize, soybean, and cotton. Transketolase-IN-6 can be used for the research of herbicidal agent development.

Biological Activity
Transketolase-IN-6 (compound 6bj) (200 mg/L; 7 days) potently inhibits root and stem growth of Digitaria sanguinalis, Amaranthus retroflexus, and Setaria viridis, with root inhibition rates of 89.5%, 77.2%, and 77.4% respectively[1].
Transketolase-IN-6 (150 g ai/ha; 7 days) inhibits post-emergence growth of Digitaria sanguinalis, Amaranthus retroflexus, and Setaria viridis by 80.2%, 75.0%, and 82.3% respectively, with GR50 values ranging from 60.372 to 96.768 g ai/ha[1].
Transketolase-IN-6 (150-300 g ai/ha) is safe for wheat, maize, soybean, and cotton at 150 g ai/ha (injury <10%) and causes <25% injury at 300 g ai/ha[1].
Transketolase-IN-6 binds strongly to Arabidopsis thaliana transketolase with a binding free energy of 6.394 kcal/mol via multiple hydrogen bond, π−cation, and π−π T-shaped interactions[1].
