Anti-Mouse IFN Beta Antibody (MIB-5E9.1)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Anti-Mouse IFN Beta Antibody (MIB-5E9.1) is an antibody targeting mouse IFN-β. Anti-Mouse IFN Beta Antibody (MIB-5E9.1) blocks the IFN-β signaling pathway, abolishes LPS-induced upregulation of B7H1 and GITRL in dendritic cells, restores dendritic cell-dependent T cell proliferation impaired by LPS exposure, and reverses LPS-induced upregulation of PD-1 on splenic T cells. Anti-Mouse IFN Beta Antibody (MIB-5E9.1) reduces LPS-induced upregulation of GITR on splenic T cells and inhibits LPS-mediated Treg priming.

Animal Model:C57BL/6 (female, 6-8 weeks old, adaptive immune dysfunction model via adoptive transfer of LPS-treated bone marrow-derived DCs)[1]
-
Dosage:5 mg/mL
-
Administration:in vitro pretreatment; 2 hours (DC pretreatment prior to LPS exposure); treated DCs were injected i.p. into mice
-
Result:Increased Ag-specific CTL priming (measured by IFN-gamma Elispot) compared to LPS-treated DC transfer.
Reduced LPS-induced PD-1 expression in splenic T cells.
Diminished LPS-enhanced GITRL expression in DCs.
Reversed LPS-induced upregulation of GITR in splenic T cells.
Abrogated LPS-induced upregulation of B7H1 in DCs at both protein and mRNA levels.
