Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Mouse lung tissue using Ly6g Antibody (YA6106). The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer (pH 9.0) for 20 minutes. The tissues were probed with the primary antibody (HY-P86414, 1/300) overnight at 4℃. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with neutral balsam.

Function
Ly-6G is the most classic surface marker for mouse neutrophils and is a GPI-anchored protein belonging to the Ly-6/uPAR family. Ly-6G is primarily used in flow cytometry to identify neutrophils, analyze inflammatory cell infiltration, and study tumor-associated neutrophils and PMN-MDSCs; it is also commonly employed in experiments involving anti-Ly-6G antibody-mediated neutrophil depletion in mice.
