Function：Supports cell migration. May be involved in urothelial cell-matrix interactions. May be involved in tumor progression

Expression：
Tissue_specificity:It is expressed in the placenta, skin, and urothelial cells. It is found in keratinocytes in the basal layer of chronic wounds. It is weakly expressed in esophageal and peripheral blood mononuclear cells. It is found in most primary and metastatic transitional cell carcinomas (TCCs) and breast cancer tissues, but not in adjacent normal tissues. High expression is found in tumor components of some non-invasive superficial lesions, as well as in invasive and metastatic urothelial carcinomas.

Induction:Up-regulated in migrating keratinocytes during epithelization of incisional skin wounds

Subunit：Binds laminin-1 and laminin-5. Interacts with LGALS3 (By similarity). Interacts with AGR2 and AGR3
