Verification Image

Western blot analysis of extracts from HeLa(lane 2(20μg)), C6(lane 3(20μg)), L929(lane 4(20μg)) and MCF-7(lane 5(20μg)) using CDKN2A/p16INK4a Antibody（HY-P86438）. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody ( 1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80993，1/10000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8001，1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background

Function：Acts as a negative regulator of the proliferation of normal cells by interacting strongly with CDK4 and CDK6. This inhibits their ability to interact with cyclins D and to phosphorylate the retinoblastoma protein

Expression：
Tissue_specificity:It is widely expressed, but not detected in the brain or skeletal muscle. Isomer 3 is pancreas-specific.
