Benzaldehyde group: Possesses a reactive aldehyde group (–CHO), capable of undergoing condensation reactions with various amino-containing compounds (such as amines, hydroxylamines, etc.) to form imine or oxime bonds.
PEG chain: Acts as a hydrophilic spacer, forming a hydration layer on the particle surface, which can reduce non-specific adsorption and recognition and clearance by the immune system, prolonging the carrier's circulation time in vivo.
