In skin care products, it is used to induce healthy skin pigmentation, helping to improve uneven skin tone and local paleness. Acetyl hexapeptide-1 also reduces skin erythema and inflammatory responses, and helps repair UV-induced DNA damage, making the skin appear healthier[1][2].
