Description

AcrB-IN-1 (Compound H6) is a potent AcrB inhibitor. AcrB-IN-1 can be used for the reversal of bacterial multidrug resistance^[1].

In Vitro

AcrB-IN-1 (Compound H6) is able to reduce the MIC value of tested antibacterial (Erythromycin HY-B0220, Levofloxacin HY-B0330, Minocycline HY-17412A) at sub-MIC concentrations (8-128 μg/mL) against the Escherichia coli strain BW25113^[1].
AcrB-IN-1 (64 μg/mL) is shown to not disrupt the bacterial inner membrane^[1].
AcrB-IN-1 completely abolishes the Nile Red (a known substrate of AcrB) efflux at a concentration of 50 μM^[1].
