DF-1012 is an orally active anti-inflammatory agent and can inhibits cough^[1].

In Vivo

DF-1012 (i.p., 30 mins before capsaicin) inhibits plasma extravasation induced in rats with an ID₅₀ of 17 mg/kg^[1].
DF-1012 (p.o., 1 h before capsaicin) inhibits cough in guinea-pigs with an ID₅₀ of 74 mg/kg^[1].
