Antibacterial agent 331 (compound A4) (24 h) potently inhibits the growth of standard Gram-positive bacterial strains (Listeria monocytogenes CMCC54004, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC29213, Enterococcus faecalis BNCC186300) and Gram-negative bacterial strains (Salmonella typhimurium SL1344, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442), with MIC values ranging from <0.0625 to 0.25 μg/mL[1].
Antibacterial agent 331 (24 h) potently inhibits the growth of clinically isolated drug-resistant Gram-positive strains (MRSA 62, L970, L971; MRSE 61, 62, 63; VRE 11, 12, 13), with MIC values ranging from 0.125 to 16 μg/mL[1].
Antibacterial agent 331 (8 μg/mL; 24 h) eliminates 58.1% of mature MRSE 62 biofilms[1].
Antibacterial agent 331 (24 h) exhibits low cytotoxicity against L929 mouse fibroblasts, with a CC50 value > 128 μg/mL[1].
