Pleionoside G is a glucosyloxybenzyl succinate derivative found in the pseudobulbs of Pleione species, and it exhibits no significant hepatoprotective or antioxidant activity in in vitro assays^[1].

In Vitro

Pleionoside G (compound 7) at 10 μM shows no cytotoxicity against HepG2 cells; it exhibits no hepatoprotective activity against APAP-induced HepG2 cell injury; and it has no antioxidant activity against H₂O₂-induced cytotoxicity in SK-N-SH cells^[1].
