Description

LPA1 receptor antagonist-7 is a LPA1 antagonist. LPA1 receptor antagonist-7 blocks downstream signaling pathways mediated by LPA1. LPA1 receptor antagonist-7 inhibits LPA-induced migration and invasion of cancer cells. LPA1 receptor antagonist-7 can be used for the research of triple-negative breast cancer[1].

In Vitro

LPA1 receptor antagonist-7 (Compound 5f) (30 min) potently inhibits LPA1-mediated cAMP suppression in CHO-K1 cells overexpressing LPA1, with an IC50 of 215.2 nM[1].
LPA1 receptor antagonist-7 (30 min) potently inhibits LPA1-mediated calcium mobilization in HEK-293 cells stably expressing LPA1, with an IC50 of 7.9 nM[1].
LPA1 receptor antagonist-7 (0-20 μM; 48 h) potently inhibits LPA-induced migration of MDA-MB-231 triple-negative breast cancer cells, with an IC50 of 2.06 μM[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Cell Migration Assay [1]

Cell Line: triple-negative breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells
Concentration: 1, 5, 10 or
20 μM
Incubation Time: 48 h
Result: Potently inhibited 18:1 LPA-induced cell migration, with an IC50 of 2.06 μM and 108.43% maximal inhibition of 10 μM 18:1 LPA response.\nDose-dependently blocked 18:1 LPA-induced cell migration and invasion, with significant inhibition observed at concentrations from 1 μM to 20 μM.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
