Meliatoosenin O (Compound 1) is identified as 1α-tigloyloxy-3α-acetoxyl-7α-hydroxyl-12α-ethoxyl nimbolinin, a novel C-ring-seco nimbolinin-type limonoid isolated from the fruits of Melia toosendan[1].
Meliatoosenin O (Compound 13) (10 μM; pretreatment for 1 h, followed by TNF-α stimulation for 4 h) inhibits TNF-α-induced NF-κB luciferase activation in HepG2-NF-κB-Luc reporter cells in a luciferase reporter gene assay[2].
