Methylated porcine trypsin

Methylated porcine trypsin is a serine protease, which is divided into two categories: heterologously methylated type and homogeneously recombinantly methylated type. Methylated porcine trypsin hydrolyzes the C-terminal peptide bonds of lysine and arginine, and can block autolytic sites via reductive methylation modification of lysine residues, thereby inhibiting autoproteolysis. Methylated porcine trypsin is applicable to protein-related research.
