Description

N-Methyl-N-tetradecanoylglycine is a rectal absorption promoter. N-Methyl-N-tetradecanoylglycine enhances rectal absorption of antibiotics^[1].

In Vivo

N-Methyl-N-tetradecanoylglycine (Compound Vd) (20 μmol/kg; rectal; single dose) increases the relative bioavailability of rectally administered sodium Ampicillin (HY-B0522) to 53.8% in male Wistar rats^[1].
