D-Ornithine hydrochloride
Based on 1 Customer Validation
D-Ornithine ((R)-Ornithine) hydrochloride is a constituent of bacterial cell wall. D-Ornithine hydrochloride promotes the production of L-arginine (HY-N0455). D-Ornithine hydrochloride enhances the expression of pyrrolysine-containing proteins.

D-Ornithine (1-10 mM, 24 h) hydrochloride results in a selective up-regulation of L-arginine (HY-N0455) in tobacco cells[2].
D-Ornithine (5 mM) hydrochloride promotes the insertion of pyrroline-carboxy-lysine (Pcl) into proteins in E. coli and HEK293 cells containing the pyl genes[3].
D-Ornithine (1-10 mM) hydrochloride can stimulate production of spermidine and spermine in tobacco cells[4].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

For the following dissolution methods, please prepare the working solution directly:
It is recommended to prepare fresh solutions and use them promptly within a short period of time.
The percentages shown for the solvents indicate their volumetric ratio in the final prepared solution. If precipitation or phase separation occurs during preparation, heat and/or sonication can be used to aid dissolution.
