Ramiprilat acyl-β-D-glucuronide is an acyl glucuronide metabolite of Ramiprilat (HY-B0279). Ramiprilat acyl-β-D-glucuronide undergoes methylation on its glucuronic acid moiety during solid phase extraction with strong cation exchanger cartridges, forming a methylated derivative. Ramiprilat acyl-β-D-glucuronide undergoes in-source conversion to Ramiprilat in mass spectrometry, with conversion extent proportional to declustering potential voltage.

Description

Ramiprilat acyl-β-D-glucuronide is an acyl glucuronide metabolite of Ramiprilat (HY-B0279). Ramiprilat acyl-β-D-glucuronide undergoes methylation on its glucuronic acid moiety during solid phase extraction with strong cation exchanger cartridges, forming a methylated derivative. Ramiprilat acyl-β-D-glucuronide undergoes in-source conversion to Ramiprilat in mass spectrometry, with conversion extent proportional to declustering potential voltage[1].

In Vitro

Ramiprilat acyl-β-D-glucuronide (10.00-100.00 μg/mL) is chromatographically separable from ramiprilat under initial reversed-phase HPLC conditions, does not cause ramiprilat quantification variability via in-source conversion, and undergoes a 65% loss with concurrent methylated derivative formation when processed using strong cation exchanger solid-phase extraction[1].
Ramiprilat acyl-β-D-glucuronide (10.00-100.00 μg/mL) undergoes hydrolysis during evaporation in protein precipitation sample preparation, with reduced hydrolysis observed at an evaporation temperature of 35°C compared to 50°C[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
