Acylphosphatase-2/ACYP2 Protein, Human (GST) is human recombinant Acylphosphatase-2 (ACYP2) with a GST tag at the N-terminus. Acylphosphatase-2/ACYP2 Protein, Human (GST) is produced by E.coli and the target gene encoding Ser2-Tyr99 is expressed.

Acylphosphatase-2 (ACYP2) is a small cytosolic acylphosphatase enzyme. The ACYP2 gene, located on chromosome 2p16.2, catalyzes the hydrolysis of carboxyl-phosphate bonds and hydrolyzes the phosphoenzyme intermediates of various membrane pumps, such as the sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-ATPase found in skeletal muscle^[1].
