B7-H2/ICOSLG Protein, a ligand for T-cell receptor ICOS, critically costimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine secretion. It induces B-cell proliferation and supports plasma cell differentiation, playing a key role in local tissue responses to inflammation. B7-H2/ICOSLG also modulates the secondary immune response by co-stimulating memory T-cell function. In molecular interactions, it has been observed to interact with CTLA4 in vitro.
