CD34 Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc)

Customer Review

Based on 1 Customer Validation

CD34 Protein is a transmembrane phosphoglycoprotein that exists on the surface of human and various animal cells. CD34 Protein is used as a cellular marker for hematopoietic stem cell sorting and as an islet endocrine cell marker. CD34 Protein plays an important role in cell adhesion, inflammatory cell chemotaxis, cell proliferation and differentiation, and enhancement of inflammatory response. CD34 Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant rat-derived CD34 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Description

CD34 Protein is used as a cellular marker for hematopoietic stem cell sorting and as an islet endocrine cell marker. CD34 Protein plays an important role in cell adhesion, inflammatory cell chemotaxis, cell proliferation and differentiation, and enhancement of inflammatory response. Background

CD34 is a transmembrane phosphoglycoprotein present on the surface of human and various animal cells, and it was first described in hematopoietic stem cells as an intercellular adhesion factor. CD34 is used as a cellular marker for hematopoietic stem cell sorting and as an islet endocrine cell marker. CD34 can mediate the attachment of hematopoietic stem cells to bone marrow extracellular matrix or directly to stromal cells. CD34 may also play a more selective role in the chemokine-dependent migration of eosinophils and dendritic cell precursors. CD34 plays an important role in cell adhesion, inflammatory cell chemotaxis, cell proliferation and differentiation, and enhancement of inflammatory response[1][2][3][4].

Verified Bioactivity

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Rat CD34 at 2 μg/mL can bind Anti-CD34 antibody, the ED50 is 0.0279 μg/mL.

Product Properties

Appearance

Lyophilized powder.

Formulation

Lyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.

Endotoxin Level

<1 EU/μg, determined by LAL method.

Reconstitution

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH2O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).
