Description
MPIF-1/CCL23 Protein, Human (99a.a, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived MPIF-1/CCL23 protein, expressed by HEK293, with N-His tag.
Background
CCL23 exhibits chemotactic activity for monocytes, resting T-lymphocytes, and neutrophils, but not activated lymphocytes. It inhibits the proliferation of myeloid progenitor cells in colony formation assays and can bind both heparin and CCR1. The truncated forms CCL23(19-99), CCL23(22-99), CCL23(27-99), and CCL23(30-99) show stronger chemoattractant potency than full-length CCL23. by similar: Other chemokines like CCL3 and CCL5 also signal through CCR1, though their target cell profiles may differ.
