Measured by its ability to cleave a fluorogenic peptide substrate (7-methoxycoumarin-4-yl) acetyl Pro-Leu-Gly-Pro-D-Lys(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-OH and the specific activity is > 100 pmol/min/μg.
