Background
PDGFAA Protein is platelet-derived growth factor subunit A precursor. PDGFAA enables growth factor activity and platelet-derived growth factor receptor binding. PDGFAA is involved in platelet-derived growth factor receptor signaling pathway, positive regulation of MAP kinase activity and positive regulation of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B signal transduction[1][2][3].
Verified Bioactivity
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using NIH-3T3 mouse fibroblast cells. The ED50 for this effect is 97.71 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 1.02×104 units/mg.
