Latent TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein, Human (C33S, HEK293, His)

Latent TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein is a large extracellular matrix protein and an associated ligand of fibrillinmicrofibrils. Latent TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein, Human (C33S, HEK293, His) is a recombinant Biotinylated protein (L30-S390) produced by HEK293 cells with His tag^[1][2].

Latent TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein promotes fibrillin-1 and -2 assembly downstream of fibronectin in mouse embryonic fibroblasts^[3].
Latent TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein promotes esophageal squamous cell carcinoma progression through epithelial-mesenchymal transition and cancer-associated fbroblasts transformation.^[4].
Latent TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein plays a potential bridge between depressive disorder and glioblastoma^[5].

LTBP-1 fragments (30 µg/mL) inhibit the incorporation of native LTBP-1 into fibroblast matrix^[2].

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH₂O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
