TPO/Thyroid Peroxidase Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His)

Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) orchestrates iodination and coupling within thyroglobulin, leading to the synthesis of thyroid hormones T(3) and T(4).TPO/Thyroid Peroxidase Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived TPO/Thyroid Peroxidase protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

TPO, or Thyroid Peroxidase, orchestrates the iodination and coupling processes of the hormonogenic tyrosines within thyroglobulin, culminating in the synthesis of thyroid hormones T(3) and T(4).

Measured by its ability to oxidize guaiacol in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. The specific activity is 68.22 pmol/min/µg.
