Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
Roseopurpurin B (S11) (0.00-0.16 mg/mL; 30 min) shows DPPH-scavenging activity with an IC50 of approximately 165 µM in an in vitro assay[1].
Roseopurpurin B (0.78-50 µM; 48 h) does not show cytotoxic activity against MCF-7, SNK-6, MG-63, or U-87 human cancer cell lines in an in vitro assay[1].
Roseopurpurin B (compound 4) shows no antibacterial growth inhibitory activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with an IC50 > 30 μM[2].
Roseopurpurin B is noncytotoxic toward SW620, NCI-H460, KB3-1, and HepG2 human carcinoma cell lines, with an IC50 > 30 μM[2].
