AXSP0056BS is an allosteric GTP cyclohydrolase I (GCH1) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 4 μM. AXSP0056BS is applicable to the research of neuropathic and inflammatory pain disorders^[1].

In Vitro

AXSP0056BS (1 mM; 2-10 days) binds to the allosteric pocket of GCH1, induces quaternary structure compaction and increased flexibility of the loop adjacent to the active site, thereby converting the enzyme into an inhibitory conformation^[1].
