3-[(4-Aminobutyl)amino]propanenitrile
3-[(4-Aminobutyl) amino]propanenitrile is a polyamine analog and also a synthetic intermediate. 3-[(4-Aminobutyl) amino]propanenitrile exhibits no growth inhibitory activity against cancer cells in culture medium supplemented with calf serum containing bovine plasma amine oxidase. 3-[(4-Aminobutyl) amino]propanenitrile can be used to prepare N1-substituted spermidine derivatives required for boron neutron capture therapy and positron emission tomography tumor imaging.
