Adenosine 2',3'-cyclic phosphate
Adenosine 2',3'-cyclic phosphate is a naturally occurring adenosine cyclic phosphate derivative. Adenosine 2',3'-cyclic phosphate is used to detect the activity of 2',3'-cyclic nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
Adenosine 2',3'-cyclic phosphate is catalyzed for breakdown by the purified adenosine cyclic phosphates degrading enzyme from Nicotiana tabacum L. var. Xanthi to generate both 2'-AMP and 3'-AMP as reaction products[1].
Adenosine 2',3'-cyclic phosphate (0.75 μ mole per 0.15 mL total reaction volume; 90 min) is catalyzed for deamination by the partially purified 30-fold adenosine deaminase from Drosophila melanogaster third instar larvae to inosine 2',3'-cyclic phosphate, with a relative activity 0.13 times that of its activity toward adenosine[2].
