ALR2/α-Glucosidase-IN-2 has a K_i value of 11.68 nM against yeast α-glucosidase and a K_i value of 72.64 nM against ovine ALR2. ALR2/α-Glucosidase-IN-2 inhibits intestinal carbohydrate digestion regulatory enzymes and key enzymes in the polyol pathway. ALR2/α-Glucosidase-IN-2 can be used in diabetes-related research.
