Aminostigmine hydrochloride
Aminostigmine hydrochloride is a Cholinesterase (ChE) inhibitor. Aminostigmine hydrochloride is a carbamate nerve agent precursor with a Kd of 6.6 mM for BSA. Aminostigmine hydrochloride exerts toxicity through carbamoylation of the enzyme active site and binds to serum albumin to reduce free toxicity. Aminostigmine hydrochloride is useful for studying atomic-level binding interactions between toxic compounds and carrier proteins.
