Description

Angiogenin Fragment (108-123) is a C-terminal segment 108-123 of Angiogenin that inhibits the enzymatic and biological activities of Angiogenin^[1].

In Vitro

Angiogenin Fragment (108-123) inhibits the initial rate of degradation of tRNA catalyzed by angiogenin in a concentration dependent manner yielding an apparent K_i value of 278 μM. Angiogenin Fragment (108-123) also inhibits nuclease activity of angiogenin when tRNA is the substrate. Furthermore, Angiogenin Fragment (108-123) significantly decreases neovascularization elicited by angiogenin in the chick chorioallantoic membrane assay^[1].
