Result:Did not affect parasite clearance or the degree of small intestinal inflammation.
Reduced the levels of IFNγ, TGFβ, and IL-6 in the small intestine and liver.
Significantly reduced the number of FoxP3+Tregs in the small intestine and liver.
Did not affect the infiltration or activation status of neutrophils, macrophages, and T cells.
