Function
CD45 (PTPRC/LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase common to all white blood cells and is the most classic pan-marker of immune cells. CD45 can be used to label hematopoietic cells, regulate TCR, BCR, and NK cell activation signals, and control immune cell development, differentiation, and function.

Heavily N- and O-glycosylated -
Subunit
Binds GANAB and PRKCSH (By similarity). Interacts with SKAP1. Interacts with DPP4; the interaction is enhanced in an interleukin-12-dependent manner in activated lymphocytes
