  • Western blot analysis of extracts from Hela (lane 1(20μg)) 、HepG2 (lane 2(20μg)) 、NIH-3T3 (lane 3(20μg)) and PC-12 (lane 4(20μg)) using KPNB1 Antibody (HY-P86934) . Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% nonfat dry milk in TBST for 1.5 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (β Tubulin, 1/5000) was used in 5% nonfat dry milk in TBST at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Docking of the importin/substrate complex to the nuclear pore complex (NPC) is mediated by KPNB1 through binding to nucleoporin FxFG repeats and the complex is subsequently translocated through the pore by an energy requiring, Ran-dependent mechanism (PubMed:10228156, PubMed:11682607, PubMed:11891849, PubMed:19386897, PubMed:20818336, PubMed:24699649, PubMed:7615630, PubMed:9687515).
