Lipase, Porcine
Lipase, Porcine is an orally active triglyceride hydrolase and fat absorption enhancer. Lipase, Porcine catalyzes the breakdown of triglycerides into fatty acids, as well as the hydrolysis of triglycerides and other carboxylic acid esters. Lipase, Porcine increases the absorption coefficients of fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Lipase, Porcine can be used in studies related to exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and congenital pancreatic triglyceride lipase deficiency.
