Lotus Tetragonolobus Lectin (LTL) (Biotinylated) is a biotinylated derivative of Lotus Tetragonolobus Lectin (HY-NP070), with both sugar-binding specificity and biotin labeling. Lotus Tetragonolobus Lectin (Biotinylated) is used to detect proteins, glycoproteins and lectins on nitrocellulose membranes.

Biological Activity
Lotus Tetragonolobus Lectin (Biotinylated) acts as an intermediate probe in the biotin-avidin amplification detection system in Western blotting, and is used for highly sensitive and highly specific detection, localization and analysis of specific glycoproteins in complex biological samples (such as saliva)[1].
Lotus Tetragonolobus Lectin exhibits strong natural affinity for glycoproteins on the surface of human myeloid immune cells (neutrophils, monocytes) due to its α-L-fucose-targeting property, rendering it a useful tool for these cell types[2].
