Description

Millettiasaponin B is an oleanane-type triterpene saponin found in the roots of Millettia speciosa. Millettiasaponin B can be used in leukemia research[1].

In Vitro

Millettiasaponin B (0.1-50 μg/mL; 72 h) does not exhibit cytotoxicity against human leukemia HL-60 cells[1].
Millettiasaponin B (0.1-50 μg/mL; 30 min) does not inhibit leukotriene secretion from rat basophilic leukemia RBL-2H3 cells[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
