Biological Activity
Polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether (MW=250) reduces the glass transition temperature of PVB by up to ~95.6 K and increases its glass transition temperature in blends[1].
Polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether (MW=250) acts as a plasticizer for rubbery PVB during blending, which reduces the glass transition temperature and the E' value at the glass transition temperature, and increases brittleness[1].
