Arginase-1/ARG1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His)

Arginase-1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) expresses in HEK293 cells with a His tag at the C-terminus. Arginase-1 Protein inhibits the growth of the arginine-depleting enzyme arginine deiminase (ADI)-resistant Hep3B tumor cells in mice^[1].

Recombinant Human Arginase-1 has IC₅₀s of 0.18 U/mL and 0.07 U/mL for HepG2 and Hep3B cells. Recombinant Human Arginase-1 has a K_m value of 1.9 mM for arginine^[1].

Measured by the production of urea during the hydrolysis of arginine. The specific activity is >20,000 pmol/min/μg.
