Biological Activity
Description
NDR1 Protein, Human (Active, sf9, GST) is the recombinant human-derived NDR1, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with GST labeled tag.
Background
NDR1 is a serine/threonine-protein kinase that functions as a negative regulator of MAP3K1/2 signaling. It converts MAP3K2 from its phosphorylated form to the non-phosphorylated state and inhibits MAP3K2 autophosphorylation. Additionally, NDR1 acts as a ufmylation 'reader' in a kinase-independent manner by specifically recognizing and binding mono-ufmylated histone H4 during DNA damage response, facilitating the recruitment of SUV39H1 to double-strand breaks to activate ATM.
