Serpin A3 Protein, Human (HEK293, His)

Serpin A3 belongs to the serine protease inhibitor family and can interact with DNAJC1. Serpin A3 can inhibit neutrophil cathepsin G and mast cell chymase and participate in the conversion of ACE1 to ACE2. Serpin A3 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived Serpin A3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Serpin A3, also known as alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT or AACT), also known as cytostatic 24/25 protein, is a member of the serine protease inhibitor (serpin) family. Serpin A3 has been found to have inhibitory activity against neutrophil cathepsin G and mast cell tryptase, two enzymes involved in the conversion of angiotensin ACE1 to biologically active ACE2. In addition, Serpin A3 can interact with DNAJC1.

Measured by its ability to inhibit chymotrypsin cleavage of a fluorogenic peptide substrate MCA-RPKPVE-Nval-WRK(Dnp)-NH2 (HY-P2185A). The IC₅₀ is <15 nM.
