Description
SMARCA2 Protein, Human(P.pastoris, His) is a subunit of the Switch/Sucrose non-fermenting (SWI/SNF) complex, which play an important role in chromatin remodeling and regulation of downstream gene expression in neural development.
Background
SMARCA2 is located on chromosome 9p24.3, and it encodes a component of SWI/SNF complexes. The SMARCA2 protein is a subunit of the SWI/SNF complexes which participate in chromatin remodeling in an ATPase-dependent manner[1]. SMARCA2 also shows frequent alterations in rhabdoid tumors, ovarian clear cell carcinomas (OCCCs), and small-cell carcinoma of the ovary, hyper-calcemic type (SCCOHT)[2].
