L-NMMA (Tilarginine) is a non-selective and competitive inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase. L-NMMA inhibits three subtypes, namely nNOS, eNOS, and iNOS, and reduces NO production . L-NMMA alleviates mechanical allodynia, thermal hyperalgesia, and choroidal fibrosis. L-NMMA is applicable to research related to nociception, bone cancer pain, and myopia .

3-Methylxanthine is a blood-brain barrier-permeable cyclic GMP phosphodiesterase inhibitor, with an IC50 of 920 μM against guinea pig cyclic GMP phosphodiesterase. 3-Methylxanthine relaxes the spontaneous tension of isolated guinea pig tracheal smooth muscle preparations. Through a DRD1-dependent pathway, 3-Methylxanthine upregulates the expression of γH2AX and activated caspase-3, downregulates the expression of Bcl-2, and enhances Cisplatin-induced apoptosis (apoptosis) in ovarian cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo. 3-Methylxanthine induces clonic convulsions in the central nervous system. 3-Methylxanthine is the major metabolite of Theophylline (HY-B0809). 3-Methylxanthine can be used in studies related to ovarian cancer and neurotoxic convulsions .

N-Methylhistamine dihydrochloride (Nα-Methylhistamine dihydrochloride) is a non-selective Histamine receptor agonist. N-Methylhistamine dihydrochloride activates histamine H1, H2 and H3 receptors; it stimulates central H1 receptors by activating sympathetic α and β adrenergic receptors to inhibit intestinal transit, exerts dose-dependent inhibition on intestinal transit, reduces histamine turnover in mouse brains, and increases gastric acid secretion without altering plasma gastrin concentrations. N-Methylhistamine dihydrochloride produces a pH-dependent, voltage-independent potentiating effect on acid-sensing ion channel 1a, and shows no significant activity toward homologous ASIC2a channels. N-Methylhistamine dihydrochloride can be used in studies related to Helicobacter pylori infection .

Synonyms: 4-Methyldiphenhydramine
Toladryl is a derivative of Diphenhydramine (HY-B0303), capable of penetrating the blood-brain barrier and possessing oral activity, as well as antihistamine and anticholinergic activities. The anticholinergic activity of Toladryl is approximately one-tenth that of Diphenhydramine (HY-B0303), and its protective effect against lethal doses of histamine in guinea pigs is 2 to 4 times that of Diphenhydramine (HY-B0303). The side effects of Toladryl are fewer and milder than those of Diphenhydramine (HY-B0303), but at higher doses, it may cause central nervous system symptoms such as insomnia, agitation, and disorientation. Toladryl can be used for research in allergic diseases .

Isoaminile is an antitussive agent and an anticholinergic compound with antimuscarinic and antinicotinic properties. Isoaminile blocks the effects of acetylcholine and McN-A-343 at ganglionic sites, inhibits responses to preganglionic sympathetic and splanchnic nerve stimulation, and does not affect postganglionic nerve- or adrenergic-mediated responses. Isoaminile inhibits nictitating membrane contraction and induced hypertension, suppresses isolated guinea pig atrial activity, and stimulates central vagal nerve activity to trigger bradycardia. Isoaminile exerts effects of antitussive action, respiratory inhibition, central nervous system excitation, and cardiovascular function regulation .
