Steppogenin 7-O-β-D-glucoside (Stepposide) is a natural flavanone glycoside and tyrosinase (Tyrosinase) inhibitor, with an IC₅₀ of 5.99 μM against mushroom tyrosinase^[1]. Steppogenin 7-O-β-D-glucoside is found in the roots of Morus nigra. It is used for studies on tyrosinase inhibition and natural flavanone glycosides^[2].

Steppogenin 7-O-β-D-glucoside (64, 128 μg/mL; 24 h) shows no antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213, methicillin-resistant S. aureus ATCC 43300 (MRSA), Staphylococcus epidermidis ATCC 35984, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853^[2].
Steppogenin 7-O-β-D-glucoside (64, 128 μg/mL; 24 h) shows no antifungal activity against azole-resistant Candida albicans ATCC 10231^[2].
